Ms. Lee, a founding member of the Firm, has more than twenty years of experience. The majority of her career has focused on civil litigation.
Prior to forming Miller & Lee LLP, Ms. Lee was associated with large insurance defense firms in New York City and served as a Court-Attorney Referee for the Surrogates Court of New York County.
Ms. Lee has significant experience with environmental and products liability litigation, including mass tort litigation involving asbestos, lead paint exposure, mold and other toxic exposure cases. She previously managed and handled asbestos litigation defending a major construction contractor in New York State as well as manufacturers of electrical components, gaskets and heating units. Management of this litigation involved successfully resolving multi-million dollar exposure cases and negotiating and finalizing global settlement deals. She also managed litigation for a major insurance company involving professional liabilities of directors, officers and employees of major financial institutions, including the SEC, involving regulatory violations, breach of fiduciary duty, employment law, and breach of contract disputes.
Ms. Lee’s current practice focuses on the defense of civil litigation matters involving premises liability, construction accidents and defects, and contract disputes.
During her career, Ms. Lee has lectured on various issues of civil litigation to insurance carriers.
